Baked Brie with Pear and Honey

This easy Baked Brie with Pear and Honey is a foolproof appetizer that’s rich, sweet, and savory with a nice crunch from walnuts. Perfect for holidays, wine nights, or whenever you need a little indulgence in your life.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 oz wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1/2 ripe pear thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves or a few sprigs
  • 2 tbsp honey plus more for serving if desired

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 390°F (200°C). Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper, or use small baking dish without the paper.
  2. Place the Brie on the prepared sheet.
  3. Arrange the pear slices on top of the Brie.
  4. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and thyme over the pears.
  5. Drizzle with honey.
  6. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until the cheese is soft and bubbling.
  7. Carefully transfer to a serving plate and serve warm with crackers or baguette slices.
