Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe D’Anjou pear halved and cored
  • 1 slice Brie cheese cubed
  • 2 tsp creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ lemon juice only
  • Fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp toasted walnuts chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the pear in half lengthwise and scoop out the center using a spoon.
  3. Arrange pear halves, cut side up, in a small baking dish and drizzle with lemon juice.
  4. Fill each half with peanut butter, top with cubes of brie, and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven, then top with toasted walnuts and a drizzle of maple syrup.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the cozy, sweet-savory perfection.
