Ingredients
  

  • 5 small ripe figs trimmed and quartered
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 fresh thyme sprig plus more thyme leaves to garnish
  • 1 small ball burrata cheese
  • 1 slice of sourdough or rustic bread

Method
 

  1. Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  2. In a small pan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in honey.
  3. Add quartered figs and cook for about 3 minutes, until softened and syrupy.
  4. Add thyme sprig, stir, and let infuse for 30 seconds. Remove from heat.
  5. Spoon warm figs and syrup over toast. Tear burrata on top.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves. Serve immediately.
