Method
Hard-Boil the Eggs:
- Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil.
- Gently add the eggs and cook for 10 minutes.
- Transfer to an ice bath and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Peel and slice the eggs in half.
Make the Filling:
- Remove the yolks and mash them with mayo, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce until smooth.
Assemble the Deviled Eggs:
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
- Top each with bacon bits and fresh dill.
Create the Cucumber Trees:
- Thinly slice the cucumber into long ribbons.
- Fold the ribbon back and forth to form a pine tree shape.
- Skewer the cucumber tree and insert it into a deviled egg.
