Ingredients

  • 8 oz mozzarella ciliegine small mozzarella balls
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • ¾ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. In a clean pint-sized jar or airtight container, combine mozzarella balls, garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, and salt.
  2. Pour in the olive oil until the mozzarella is fully covered.
  3. Gently mix everything together, seal the jar, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours—preferably overnight.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Don’t forget to save the leftover oil for dipping or drizzling!

Notes

  • Add lemon zest for a pop of brightness
  • Swap herbs – Try fresh basil, oregano, thyme, or a mix
  • More heat? Add a few chili flakes or a small sliced red chili
  • Get creative – A drizzle of toasted sesame oil gives it a unique, nutty edge
Storage Tip – Keep refrigerated in an airtight jar for up to 5 days. Let them come to room temp before serving for best flavor
