Ingredients
  

  • Ingredients for Salmon Tartare:
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet previously frozen 3 days
  • 2 tbsp shallot finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp whole-grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers chopped
  • 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • For the Toast:
  • Sourdough bread slices toasted
  • Cream cheese for spreading
  • Fresh ripe tomatoes thinly sliced

Method
 

  1. Prepare the salmon by finely dicing it with a sharp knife.
  2. In a bowl, combine salmon with shallots, olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, parsley, chives, capers, and Tabasco. Mix gently. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Toast sourdough until golden. Spread with cream cheese, layer tomatoes, and top generously with salmon tartare.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy your café-worthy appetizer.
