Ingredients

  • 2 slices rustic sourdough bread toasted
  • 3-4 tbsp crème de Brie or Brie slices, softened slightly; cream cheese also works
  • 3-4 slices prosciutto torn into ribbons
  • 2 fresh figs quartered or halved
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts lightly toasted
  • 2 tsp honey for drizzling

Method

  1. Toast the bread: Slice sourdough and toast until golden and crisp.
  2. Spread the Brie: While warm, spread a generous layer of crème de Brie or softened Brie slices.
  3. Layer the prosciutto: Drape slices of prosciutto across the bread, letting them fall naturally.
  4. Add figs: Arrange fresh fig quarters on top of the prosciutto.
  5. Top with pine nuts: Toast pine nuts in a dry skillet until golden, then scatter over the toast.
  6. Drizzle with honey: Finish with a drizzle of honey and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, black pepper, or fresh thyme leaves.
