Gorgonzola, Fig & Honey Stack

This elegant Gorgonzola, Fig & Honey Stack is a no-cook appetizer that layers creamy gorgonzola, whipped cream cheese, honeyed figs, and fresh thyme into a stunning and flavorful tower. Finished with hot honey and served with crackers or toast, it’s perfect for holiday entertaining or a cozy night in with wine.

Ingredients
  

  • oz gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 –2 fresh figs plus extra for garnish
  • 3 tbsp whipped cream cheese
  • 1 tsp regular honey
  • 1 tbsp hot honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves for mixing and garnish

Method
 

Mash the gorgonzola cheese with a fork until creamy but still textured.
    Slice the figs and gently mix them with the regular honey and a few fresh thyme leaves.
      In a small ramekin or mold, layer the appetizer as follows:
      1. Half the gorgonzola
      2. The fig-honey mixture
      3. he whipped cream cheese
      4. The remaining gorgonzola
      Press gently to hold the shape.
        Garnish with additional fig slices, a drizzle of hot honey, and fresh thyme leaves.
          Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
