Method
Mash the gorgonzola cheese with a fork until creamy but still textured.
Slice the figs and gently mix them with the regular honey and a few fresh thyme leaves.
In a small ramekin or mold, layer the appetizer as follows:
- Half the gorgonzola
- The fig-honey mixture
- he whipped cream cheese
- The remaining gorgonzola
Press gently to hold the shape.
Garnish with additional fig slices, a drizzle of hot honey, and fresh thyme leaves.
Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
