Ingredients
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Add the shredded cheese, bacon bits, toasted almonds, chopped chives, and cayenne pepper. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
- Place a 6-inch food ring on a serving plate and firmly press the cheese mixture into the ring, smoothing the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the stack to set.
- Carefully remove the ring. Garnish with Parmesan chips and extra chives just before serving.
Parmesan Chips (Optional)
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon grated cheese into the pan, forming a small circle.
- Let the cheese melt completely and cook until crisp.
- Transfer to a paper towel and gently bend while warm to shape.
- Repeat to make 4–5 chips.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for the smoothest texture.
- This cheese stack can be made up to 24 hours in advance; garnish right before serving.
- If you don’t have a food ring, the mixture can also be served as a classic Million Dollar Dip in a bowl.
- Almonds can be swapped for pecans, walnuts, or omitted if needed.
