Ingredients
  

  • 1 thick slice sourdough bread
  • 1 tsp Roquefort cheese
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • ½ Bartlett pear thinly sliced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crack of black pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp hot honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves to garnish

Method
 

  1. Slice pear thinly and toss with lemon juice, hot honey, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Mix Roquefort and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Toast sourdough until golden.
  4. Spread cheese mixture over toast.
  5. Layer pear slices naturally over cheese.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme. Serve immediately.
