Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice sourdough bread
  • Olive oil for toasting
  • 1 big tbsp cottage cheese
  • 1 poached egg see method above
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • ½ medium tomato or 1 small, sliced
  • Fresh dill for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Toast sourdough in a skillet with olive oil until golden.
  2. Melt butter in a pan, stir in Aleppo pepper, and warm gently.
  3. Spread cottage cheese on toast, season lightly.
  4. Layer tomato slices on top.
  5. Add poached egg in the center.
  6. Spoon Aleppo butter over the egg and tomato.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill. Serve immediately.
